UNFORTUNATELY THIS RESTAURANT HAD DISCONTINUED THEIR BUSINESS
Salam,
After Thumbs Café, Al-Negra, Mat Periuk, another new (well not really new since I’m quite late in writing this, but yeah~) art café in Ipoh town has arrived, Gomok Café. I’m not really sure why they choose the name, but most probably it is relatable to the word “Gemuk” which means fat. I really happy to see many cafes of this type started to came into pictures because as I said it before, I really love to see Ipoh as a small town that focusing on arts tourism.
The area of Tambun in Ipoh has been known for it’s famous landmarks, the Lost World of Tambun by the local and outsiders. But there are also many nice foodspots you can find here. Recently, I was told by one of my colleague that there are new interesting restaurant in the area of Sunway City, Tambun. As she described the restaurant to be very unique and beautiful, I became a little bit curious to go there.
Nasi Lemak in Klang Valley area nowadays I believe is overly modified. You’ll never get good Nasi Lemak unless you put in some additional dishes such as Sambal Sotong (Chilli Squid), Ayam Masak Merah (Chilli Chicken), Sambal Kerang (Chilli Cockles) or any other side dishes. Good plain Nasi Lemak is very hard to get.
First and foremost, I would like to make an apologize for not updating this blog quite a long time. I’m sorry~huhu. Currently, I’m in my mid-semester holiday, so yeah, take this opportunity to update this blog.
Next, I might just continue with my review perhaps? Okay, this review was made during my family trip to Singapore and Johor, sponsored by my mother employer. Actually, I’ve reviewed one of Johorian famous dishes before which is Mee Rebus Haji Wahid @ Plaza Angsana. This time, it is more casual, one of Johorean famous spot to lepak at night.
Before anything, Prima 2 is located in Seksyen 2 Shah Alam. The stall is located at the first row from the UiTM College and near the Seksyen 2 Bus stop.
Yup, before this I had review one stall in this place that also served Western dishes, you may refer that post here. But I think, that stall is not so special compared to what I will review this time. The main difference about this stall compared to the previous stall is that, this stall served the steak in sizzling way (by using hotplate). This bring the uniqueness in the food. But, later I will served you the picture~ :muahh1:
Anyway, I quite like this stall foods because of it’s uniqueness. The taste also not bad. But there are lack of seats here, sometimes on the weekends, it was hard to find a table. Maybe because there are 2 good steak stall here. Because this stall is near to Lanun or Pirate Steakhouse, another favourable steakhouse here in Damansara Uptown. But I may review about it later.
So here is my conclusion on this stall.
Food: Nice, Unique and Tasty~Me likey~I prefer grilled Chicken Chop rather that being deep fried.
Environment: Open food court, Comfortable, but sometimes when you come in weekend it was hard to find a sit. But they used “free seats” here, means you can seat anywhere and order on any stall.
Price: Very reasonable for a price of western dishes. Most of the price is below RM10.
So, that’s all, location map at the end of the post, click “Eat More” to view the “mouth watering” photo~ :hehehe1:
