Restoran Apong D’Hilir @ Teluk Intan, Perak

Salam,

Teluk Intan is one of the big town in Perak where it consists of some historical sites of British occupation in Perak once upon a time ago, among others is the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan. The town itself located at the side of the infamous Sungai Perak (Perak River).

I think most people already know about this restaurant, at least it is very famous among local people of Teluk Intan and this restaurant is actually a floating restaurant is located on Sungai Perak. So you really can see and feel it is floating on the river while eating there, for me, its a great experience.

The food is nice, I tried their signature dish which is Udang Galah (Giant Freshwater Prawn) which is cooked with chili. Other side dish I took is Omelette and Kai-Lan cook with salted fish. Overall it is good plus the experience you having eating on a floating restaurant.

UNFORTUNATELY THIS STALL HAD DISCONTINUED THEIR BUSINESS

Salam,

Nins Cabin Cafe is a fusion food cafe located at the heart of Ipoh town near the Padang Ipoh (Ipoh Field). This cafe served range of dishes from brunch to dinner. I frequently went here during the lunch time as this cafe is near my office and I love it since they have plenty choices of food from western to local.

So here are my verdict for this cafe:-

Food:- Many choices. I like the Buttermilk Chicken with rice set. The Lemon Chicken is also nice. Overall, the food taste good.

Price:- Affordable.

Environment:- Cafe are clean. Service, sometimes, a bit slow, especially during peak hour. But rarely to happened. Waiters are friendly~

Salam,

Well, I’m not very much a fan of seafood, but I eat & love all foods that is good and halal. Before this I think I’ve wrote some post of good seafood’s in some area, you may refer here: Aroma Ikan Bakar, Kuala Selangor (which is among the most viewed post), Gerai Hasnik Seri Menanti, Terengganu, Dataran Helang, Langkawi and Jalan Bellamy, KL (only if you are really craving for Ikan bakar within KL and don’t want to go too far).

Sizzling Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice @ Kafe Impiana, Seri Iskandar.

Salam~

Do you love Chicken Teriyaki? Or have you ever heard about it before? For me, I love Chicken Teriyaki, I love the sweetness of the dish. When I had the Roasted Chicken Teriyaki at Jaya Jusco Bukit Tinggi Mall for the first time, I was like…Wow!! That was good~

But, be careful of Non-Halal Teriyaki Sauce.

I must precaution you that there are danger of Teriyaki marinade product at the market, as it may contain wine as their ingredient. The label of Teriyaki marinade product that I had identified to contain wine is Kikkoman which is sold at Tesco Hypermarket Malaysia. It was located at open shelf (in Tesco Extra Ipoh, but it may be mistakenly put there), so please be very careful guys, please check the ingredient first before you buy.

Restoran Murni Discovery @ Taipan USJ, Selangor.

or in English, Murni Discovery Restaurant @ Taipan 9 USJ, Selangor.

Salam,

Yeah, found one more amazing restaurant at USJ Taipan Business Centre, before this I had blogged one good Ayam Penyet Restaurant HERE. Taipan Business Centre was quite famous to the Subang peoples as it offers lot of restaurant to hangout for late nite dinner or supper.

Murni Discovery Restaurant Front View

But this restaurant that I will blogged about is the newly opened restaurant and one of the branches of a “quite famous” restaurant in Kelana Jaya. The restaurant named Murni Discovery and I think they served amazing foods here.

Anyway, before going to this branch restaurant, I had go to it’s main branch, and I’m quite upset with its food =(. But this restaurant change it all and I will tell you why later. At their main branch, it’s so pack with people, service was quite late and food was not too good (to me lah). I’ve long time not going to their main branches mainly because too many people there.

So my verdict for this restaurant.

Food: Wow, it’s nice man!! Really you should try this restaurant. Ok stay calm~ Erm, to me, the food is quite good. They have plenty variation of foods, from western to local foods. Some of the dishes is a blend of Local and Western food, for example the Chicken Chop Fried Rice, so it’s quite unique here. They did provide you the menu for you to choose the dishes, but my recommendation are, as for this time (15/2/2011):

– Nasi Goreng Ayam Pandan, and

– Nasi Goreng Chicken Chop.

And I will update this recommended list as I visit the restaurant again later, InsyaAllah.

Environment: Better than the main branch. Easier to order. Bigger and Comfortable.

Price: Affordable. Not too expensive compared to Williams Corner. But food portions is smaller.

Therefore, hope you enjoy the food pictures after the break.

Visit Murni Discovery Restaurant Facebook Page.

Bistro Qaseh @ Seksyen 13, Shah Alam.

Hello, this time I want to review one good restaurant for you to try on. For us who lived in Shah Alam we frequently have a problem in finding good and ‘unusual’ restaurant to go around this area. Sometimes it is quite boring to eat at the same food spot all the time.

Before this, I had reviewed some food spot around Shah Alam, but that is the past, lets find new one. So I’ve found one, Qaseh Bistro or Bistro Qaseh, or what ever you want to call it. And this time I have a big menu to tell to.

top Ok, this restaurant is special, all their decorations are based on love theme. I don’t know why but maybe that’s their speciality. Nvrmd anyway, lets focused to the food.
Ok, the food, is good~ really, for their seafood grill. It’s really nice to be try to. Enjoy the food-toshot after the break. I really recommend the seafood grill. The price? Reasonable. Look at the picture urself, too lazy to list it out~ Environment of the restaurant is very comfortable. The location of the restaurant is located near the Les’ Copaque who’d made the Upin dan Ipin movie. Map below.
