UNFORTUNATELY THIS RESTAURANT HAD DISCONTINUED THEIR BUSINESS
After Thumbs Café, Al-Negra, Mat Periuk, another new (well not really new since I’m quite late in writing this, but yeah~) art café in Ipoh town has arrived, Gomok Café. I’m not really sure why they choose the name, but most probably it is relatable to the word “Gemuk” which means fat. I really happy to see many cafes of this type started to came into pictures because as I said it before, I really love to see Ipoh as a small town that focusing on arts tourism.
Located at the heart of Ipoh town, Gomok serves variety of western and local delicacies. As an art café, I found Gomok is quite nicely decorated. It’s a good place for hangout with your friends on the weekend. However, I personally think that this place have a limited seating place as the premise is quite small. I don’t know whether they will expand it to the upper floor or not, but yeah, I’m just telling so that you know what to expect later~
Before moving on with the food photos, I’ll just give you the verdict:-
Food:- Food was just okay~The fish & chips if good though. And the mashed potato.
Price:- Standard price for a café but wlll be quite expensive for Ipoh’s people.
Environment:- Decorations are nicely done. Nice concept and experience. No aircond~ :pusing2:
Other additional info:- Gomok’s Cafe Facebook
Conclusion, if you are finding for a good and new place to chillin with your friends, than this place might be good as an option. But if you are looking for a good food, there are other choices for you. Anyhow, the waiter are really friendly and nice~ :yo:
