Nasi Goreng Thai @ Tesco Shah Alam.

Okay, this is just a short review. Yesterday me n my gf had some problem to find a place to eat for our lunch. We want to eat at the place that has an aircond (it was very hot outside) but have a cheap food yet special instead of fast food. After a long discussion and suggestion, we go to the Tesco Shah Alam food court (Not Tesco Extra). Erm, Tesco Shah Alam is located near the Bulatan Malawati exit to Federal Highway. There are several stall serves good food here. There are also famous JM Beriani (I will review later) here.

Ok, so there are variety of food and stall at the food court. I choose for the stall named “Masakan Thai”. I ordered for “Nasi Goreng Thai” or “Thai Fried Rice”. Ok, no more talk, lets look for the picture after the break.

*Booth view. Image is by courtesy of foodpoi.com.

Yeah, Japanese food this time. Me and MyDear went to JJ Sunway Pyramid, wondering what to eat while waiting my movie (Papadom) to start. Don’t want to eat heavy food, so we walked around JJ and Giant to find any snack that can fills our time and stomach, hehe. Then found this stalls (or a booth maybe?) that sells Tako Tao Takoyaki (actually I never try this food before, but my gf want to tried it). First I make sure whether the food is Halal for us or not. Then I found a Halal certificates and logo near it. So, it’s confirmed.

So, what is Tako Tao actually?

Tako Tao is a Japanese snack food. Made from Flour and some “inti” inside it. It will be serve with mayonnaise, fish flakes and soy sauce.

There are 4 filling available which is Octopus [Tako Takoyaki], Innagi, Prawn and Chicken Ham with cheese. This Tako Tao booth are available to most of Jusco Branches, so it isn’t hard to find one. The food taste good, you must try it. And what is important is IT’S HALAL!!

Take a look at the snapshot of the food: (read more).

Breakfast with Roti Canai @ Gembira Restaurant.

Roti Canai is one of Malaysian favourite food. It’s made from flour like a bread or bun. It taste vey delicious when it’s crispy and eat with a “sambal”. Here in Shah Alam there are a lot of Mamak restaurant that sell Roti Canai. Maybe some of you liked it and maybe some are not. There are one restaurant that sells Roti Canai and it’s a Malay Restaurant. The name of the Restaurant is “Gembira” or Happiness.

Here the Roti Canai is quite good. Besides that, this restaurant also have the specialty of good Nasi Lemak. As they contended, they was established from 1980. So it must be good. That day, I’m not eating their Nasi Lemak, so no picture of it. But trust me, it’s good, I’ve tried it.

Here the sneak peak of the Roti Canai:
