UNFORTUNATELY THIS RESTAURANT HAD DISCONTINUED THEIR BUSINESS
The name of this cafe is quite unique as it means “the eldest uncle”. Though quite new in the arena of Hipsters Cafe in Ipoh, this little cafe is air-conditioned and well decorated.
I personally prefer a cafe to be air conditioned and cozy. I dont know why but I always see that a cafe is a good place to hang out with your friends and to have a long good chit chating. At the time when I came here, the cafe is ready to wrap up for that day and it is still new, so the menu is a little bit limited, so we just order what they have.
From the menu, it seems to offers a local and western delicacies. There are Nasi Lemak, Laksa Pak Long, Chicken Chop with Blackpepper Sauce, Chicken Wrap and many more. And there are some cool drinks and frappes too. There are also plenty of choices of cakes. I believe if you want, you can pre-order the cakes of you choice.
Anyway, let me just give my conclusions for this cafe:-
Food:- Hurm, i ordered Chicken Chop with Blackpepper Sauce. The taste is quite okay. They put some seasonings on the potato fries which I think it is quite creative. It is quite tasteful overall. My friend ordered Chicken Wrap. Quite okay. But I think the local delicacies must be better. I hope can repeat again soon to try its local menu.
Price:- To me, personally, it is quite pricey. The price for the frappes is nearly or more than RM10 which I think is not to affordable to the people of Ipoh. This is not Starbucks.
Environment:- Nice and simple. But quite unique as there is a barber shop besides of it where the wall is windowed. Air conditioned and clean.
