Salam,

If you craved for special muslim friendly, pork free Indian cuisine in Ipoh, I might say, this is the place to go. The Andersonians’ Club served southern Indian cuisine for lunch and what so special about it, it is served on a banana leaf and it has been in business for many years.

Before this, I’ve been to the banana leaf restaurant in Bangsar and I think this restaurant is as good as there if not better (for the taste). So, before I go to the photos, let me give my verdict first:-

Food:- Food is awesome and tastefully. However, I think their choices of menu are quite limited. I hope they could add more menu in future. Nevertheless, I’m still lovin it.

Price:- A bit pricey for Ipoh. But, it is very special dish and it’s very good, so I think it’s worth the money.

Environment:- Normal restaurant. Very clean. Not air-conditioned. And you get a nice view of Anderson School from there.

Well, here goes the photos:-

Forgot the name if this dish (cuz it sounds very weird). Truly sorry for that. But this is love.

Prawn sambal (Chili prawn). Nice.

All three dishes we took. I forgot to snap the Chicken Masala photo, at the back of this picture. It is superb!

Our choices of dishes together with the default vege by the restaurants. There will always be that 3 veges for you everytime. The charge will be per head and I think it is unlimited.

Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi. Not the best, but okay.
