Okay this is actually just a little stall/booth which was recommended by my friend. They sell cold drinks only which is coffee and tea so this post will be a short one.
So it is on a hot and sunny day, me and my friend decided to get some iced drinks thus Coffee King came into our mind. Well, when we arrived here, we are quite surprise seeing there are quite a crowd queuing for their coffee at this stall. I heard that this stall/booth had become one of hipsters thing to try now in Ipoh after the Ais krim pasu.
This I just found out, posted in Facebook by my friend. I’ve heard that Flower Pot Ice Cream (Ais Krim Pasu Bunga??) has become something for hipsters. This ice cream stand were located near Ipoh’s train station and in front of Post Malaysia office. So yeah, can’t wait to try it soon!! Meanwhile, enjoy the photos shared by our fellow Hipster Instagramers about this flower pot ice cream…
This time I will make a short review on one stall that sold good Popia in Shah Alam. The stall is located at Pusat Komersial, Seksyen 7 Shah Alam. It is located near the ‘Barra’ Mamak Restaurant and ‘Patio’ Restaurant. Map here.
The weakness of this stall is they frequently close down. So I feel sorry if you came here then it is not opening for business. The stall is open starting from 5 pm.
The taste of the popia is good. the stall serve 2 types of Popia which is “Popia Goreng” and “Popia Basah”. The “Popia Basah” is good. The sambal is a little bit sweet and pekat. And they put Serbuk Kacang on it.
The price is RM 3 for 5 pieces of Popia. Okay, no talk anymore lets go to the picture~
Oh btw, I gave 3 star maybe. They good in the taste but lack on the business hours time.

Yeah, Japanese food this time. Me and MyDear went to JJ Sunway Pyramid, wondering what to eat while waiting my movie (Papadom) to start. Don’t want to eat heavy food, so we walked around JJ and Giant to find any snack that can fills our time and stomach, hehe. Then found this stalls (or a booth maybe?) that sells Tako Tao Takoyaki (actually I never try this food before, but my gf want to tried it). First I make sure whether the food is Halal for us or not. Then I found a Halal certificates and logo near it. So, it’s confirmed.
So, what is Tako Tao actually?
Tako Tao is a Japanese snack food. Made from Flour and some “inti” inside it. It will be serve with mayonnaise, fish flakes and soy sauce.
There are 4 filling available which is Octopus [Tako Takoyaki], Innagi, Prawn and Chicken Ham with cheese. This Tako Tao booth are available to most of Jusco Branches, so it isn’t hard to find one. The food taste good, you must try it. And what is important is IT’S HALAL!!
Take a look at the snapshot of the food: (read more).
